You're Invited!

June 10, 2021 | 7:00pm - 8:00pm ET

Join Defenders of Wildlife for the online premiere of our first-ever Virtual Celebration honoring lasting and exceptional commitments to wildlife conservation!

The past four years—amplified by the ongoing health crisis—brought unprecedented threats to wildlife, public lands and bedrock environmental laws. With the dedication of our supporters and tireless work of our staff, Defenders has made important progress for imperiled species like wolves, bison, bats, ocelots and orca as well as vital landscapes across the United States.

Please join us to celebrate and look toward a bright future ahead for wildlife!

During this virtual gathering, hosted by Jeff Corwin, we will also celebrate this year’s honorees:

  • Dr. Carl Safina will receive the Legacy Award for his many years advocating for the preservation of biodiversity.

  • U.S. Senator Tom Carper, for his leadership in Congress to maintain the integrity of key conservation laws including the Endangered Species Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

  • Dr. Steven Monfort of the Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, for his distinguished career and influence as a conservation science expert.

  • American Prairie Reserve, for their creative partnership and commitment to preserving a vital piece of our nation’s biodiversity: a complete and fully functioning shortgrass prairie ecosystem.

The event is free but registration is required. Please register below and plan to join us!
