Benny is a black bear from Florida. Black bears are the smallest of the three bear species found only in North America, and they love to climb trees. By adopting Benny, you’re helping Defenders of Wildlife advocate for safe passage for animals, like Benny, who are losing their natural habitat to human development. Defenders is on the ground in Florida, and across the country, to help ensure animals and humans can share the landscape.
