Georgie the Green Sea Turtle

Georgie, a green sea turtle, is one of six sea turtle species found in North American waters. All of these turtles, including green sea turtles, are listed as endangered or threatened in the United States due, in part, to habitat loss, entanglement in marine debris, ingestion of plastics, artificial lighting and illegal harvesting. By adopting Georgie, you’re helping Defenders of Wildlife protect critical sea turtle habitat.
